At IBC 2019 we saw Hawk-Woods new IPWC Adapter, which allows you to power any USB-C device such as a Mac laptop from a D-Tap source.
Back in the day, Hawk-Woods had the VL-MAC-3MacBook Dual V-Lok Battery Adaptor that allowed broadcast production personnel to run their Mac laptops from the batteries already being used out in the field.
Well now, Hawk-Woods has finally come up with a similar device to allow you to power newer Mac laptops that use a USB-C connector.
The IPWC Adapter can attach to any device that has a D-tap out and then you can use that device to charge your laptop or power any other USB-C device.
The IPWC also has a quick charge USB 3 port.
The IPWC Adapter retails for £125+VAT.
