Sony has launched its regional short-film video competition under the theme of “Unforgettable Moment”, inviting content creators from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, to express their world of emotions, through the power of creativity and technology.
Open to everyday storytellers, the videos must be shot with a camcorder, any brand and make, and should be between three to five minutes in length and inspired by the theme – Unforgettable Moment. Videos shot on mobile phones or using digital cinema cameras like the VENICE, F55 or F5 will not be accepted. This also applies to all brands and other digital cinema cameras including ARRI, RED, Panasonic, Canon, etc. Suggested genres include wedding, sports, music, documentary, nature, among others.
Winners’ Prize
One winner will be selected from each of the five countries by January 2020 and they will be invited to attend the award ceremony in Singapore in February 2020, with airfare and 2 nights hotel accommodation provided. The regional winner will be announced during the award ceremony and will receive Sony’s PXW-FS7 II camcorder while the remaining four country winners will receive Sony’s PXW-FS5 II camcorder.
