The Vocas director’s monitor cage offers protection and portability for 5″ and 7″ location monitors.
After connecting the cage to your monitor you can attach leather handles and a substantial-looking harness with quick release buckles as well as a battery receiver bracket so you can use V-Lock or Gold-mount batteries for power.
If you’re shooting outside there’s a 7″ sunshade that clips into the cage, and you can add a spigot clamp for mounting on a tripod or lighting stand.
All in all it looks like a very tidy system for keeping your director happy. And who doesn’t want to keep their director happy?

The new cage will be available straight after IBC finishes on September 18. The base unit with a battery receiver bracket will cost €350, and a kit including a spigot clamp will cost €425.
