Leitz (formerly CW Sonderoptic) has started shipping the latest lenses in their M 0.8 series of ultra-compact, high-speed lenses.
The M full frame lenses are designed to be small and compact so they can be used in a wide range of situations from handheld, aerial, gimbal & underwater. This now brings the set to 8 lenses with the three new lenses joining the 21, 24, 28, 35 f/1.4 lenses & 50mm Noctilux f/0.95 with full frame coverage.
Leitz has also started shipping the Leica M-Mount for the Sony Venice. The mount is field-swappable with just 6 screws and allows for M lenses to be securely mounted with a locking ring. Other cameras with available M-Mount options include ARRI Alexa Mini, ARRI Amira, and RED DSMC2 and DSMC1 cameras.
