Arri have come up with their own line of full spectrum neutral density filters that have been designed to meet the highest possible standards for today’s modern digital cinema cameras.
The internal ND filters in the ALEXA Mini and the AMIRA cameras are highly respected in the industry for their colour neutral properties. As an Arri Amira owner I can attest to this. Even when the ND is set at 2.1 their is no colour shift to your images. What Arri has essentially done is to take the same ND filter properties from the Alexa Mini and Amira and and turn them into external full spectrum ND filters.
The filters will be available in 4“ x 5.65“ and 6.6“ x 6.6“ sizes. The strengths they will come in are- 0.3, 0.6, 0.9, 1.2, 1.5, 1.8, 2.1, 2.4.
