Think Tank have released new StreetWalker Rolling Photo Backpacks. Backpacks are great for carrying around your camera gear, but as shooters we tend to overload them to the point where they become uncomfortable on your shoulders after an extended period. I like to strap my backpack to a small trolley so I can wheel it around without having to keep all the weight around my shoulders. So why not just incorporate the trolley into the backpack? Large capacity
The new StreetWalker Rolling Backpack V2.0, allows you to switch from a backpack to a roller. The StreetWalker is quite spacious for a backpack, and will fit two DSLR bodies with lenses attached (including a 200-400mm f/4), and a 15” laptop. By moving the dividers around you should also be able to carry small digital cinema cameras such as a RED or Sony FS5.
Retractable handle
The retractable handle folds away into the backpack so it won’t get damaged even if you need to check the bag in on a flight. Most backpacks I have tried that have a retractable handle have been poorly made, and the handle often ends up breaking. The Think Tank StreetWalker handle looks to be very solid though.
