Adam Wilt is perhaps best know for his Cinemeter iOS app that turns your iPhone into a useful light meter. He was at Cinegear in Los Angeles showing a new app that is designed to make seeing waveforms and vectorscopes remotely much easier when using your camera on a brushless gimbal, Steadicam or any other mobile camera rig. For the system to work you need a Teradek Cube H.264 transmitter hooked up to your camera. The iOS app then analyses the signal coming in and gives a real-time waveform display.
The app costs around $30 and is available to buy now from the Apple app store.
