At IBC, BB&S were showing a compact 1K Par light called the Ledheimer. It is a multipurpose beam light made for key, fill and backlighting in television, exhibitions and architectural expos where a powerful single source is needed.
The LED light is flicker free and offers smooth theatrical type dimming. Different reflectors can be fitted inside the Ledheimer to control the beam angle. It can also be used with speed rings to attach diffusers.
Multiple units can be assembled into a extremely powerful array using the pinball quick release system. There is also Powercon and DMX 5 pin XLR in/out for daisy-chaining the units together.
The Ledheimer is available in two versions comparable to tungsten (warm) and discharge (cold). The light is available for around $1799 US. For more details visit the BB&S website.
