Lupolux were showing a new lightweight LED fresnel at IBC this year. Weighing in at 4.5kg (9.9lb) the light can be operated by either mains or battery power. The power draw is 200w and Lupolux claim the output is the equivalent of a 2K fresnel.
The ballast is attached to the light and its relatively small size makes it a good choice for those who need to travel with a large light source. The 2K fresnel will be available in November for around 1500 Euros ($1700US).
