Vocas are developing a universal baseplate system that works with 15mm rods, 19mm rods, a shoulder mount and can be easily switched out to other supports or stabilisers.
The system features a camera plate that can slide to adjust balance, and that can change quickly and easily between setups. The shoulder pad is removeable and stays in place using magnets – Vocas are also planning on releasing a range of different pads so you’ll be able to customise the fit of your rig to suit you.
The examples on show in the video are prototypes but Vocas expect to be shipping in November for a price of €800.
