Riz and Keith from Beyond HD give site editor Dan Chung a demonstration of the Letus Double Helix gimbal and Exhauss exoskeleton that between them can support a camera package of 25-30kg.
The Double Helix offers the same control of pan and tilt as the company’s smaller systems and the Exhauss mark II exoskeleton transfers the weight of the gimbal and camera down through the user’s legs.
For DoPs there’s no need for a second operator using this system and the Double Helix fits a more traditional Steadicam sled too. Both the Double Helix (£20,000) and the Exhauss mark II exoskeleton (£4,000) are available now.
