Newsshooter was at BIRTV in Beijing this week to check out all the latest gear from China. iFootage are best known for their excellent Shark S1 slider which is constructed out of high quality carbon fibre. At the trade show they were showing their new Wildbull T7 solo leg style carbon fibre tripod with leg braces. The earlier T1 and T3 tripods were the first to use this style of leg brace with a solo leg carbon fibre video tripod. With the T7 they have continued the concept and it should increase stability, especially when going high. The tripod has a tripod bowl and should work with most popular brands of professional fluid tripod head.
The quality of iFootage’s machining has so far been some of the finest we have seen from a Chinese gear maker and we are optimistic that the Wildbull T7 will be built to last, A second lower cost aluminium model called the T5 will also be sold.
The new tripods should be available at the end of September. Price is TBC but we are told it will be extremely competitive. Keep an eye out on the iFootage website.
