At NAB 2025 in Las Vegas, Bun-G-Ring was on display. Bun-G-Ring is a new product that offers a faster, secure, and universal alternative to taping filters. Filters sometimes get taped to lenses for various reasons. For example, if you don’t have a matte box, the lens you are using isn’t suitable to be used with one, or the space is too tight for one.
The Bun-G-Ring was born from firsthand set experience. Frustrated by the limitations of taping filters, a team of industry professionals, including camera assistant Stevie Vos (10 years experience) and gaffer Erno Das (30 years experience) set out to create a better way.
The Bun-G-Ring, is a lightweight and durable solution that mounts filters in under 6 seconds without the need for tape or a matte box. The Bun-G-Ring features a bungee cord-based mounting system that holds filters securely in place and removes the risk of tape failing.
They come in a range of clamp-on sizes, including 114mm, 110mm and 95mm.

The Bun-G-Ring’s custom-engineered bungee cords are threaded with Dyneema, which is known for being one of the world’s strongest fibers and is widely used in aerospace and extreme sports.
You can stack up to five filters using the system, and you can use a range of different-sized filters.
The Bun-G-Ring is sort of an alternative take to products such as the Bright Tangerine Misfit Atom, but it does give you a little more flexibility as you can use a wider array of different-sized filters.
