Deity has posted a nice video called Timecode for Multiple Cameras. The more cameras and devices you have on set, the greater the importance of making sure that you keep them in sync and organized, otherwise the editor is never going to speak to you again!
In the video posted by Deity, they dive into a multi-camera improvisational production and how timecode is the key to staying organized. Timecode for multiple cameras is tricky and requires specialized knowledge of not only timecode types but also the connections they use and the labeling needed on files and the timecode slate.
While the introduction video is pretty basic, and a lot of our readers will already be familiar with the importance of timecode, there may still be a few tips or valuable information you might get out of it.
