Blackmagic Design has released the Blackmagic Camera 9.2 Update that adds support for the Blackmagic PYXIS Monitor, remote camera control via the Blackmagic Camera app for Blackmagic PYXIS 6K, plus improved gyro accuracy on the Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K G2.
What’s new in Blackmagic Camera 9.2
The following models have new features.
Blackmagic PYXIS 6K
- Adds support for Blackmagic PYXIS Monitor.
- Adds the ability to be remotely controlled via the Blackmagic Camera App.
- Adds lens correction metadata for L-Mount lenses to Blackmagic RAW files.
- Changes behavior of the lock switch to only affect the built-in PYXIS touchscreen.
- Improves battery performance for longer run times.
- Improves tethering compatibility with iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro models.
Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K G2
- Improves gyro accuracy.
- Fixes issue where a black horizontal line is seen on the SDI and HDMI output.
