Old Fast Glass Customs has a range of new accessories for the Bolex H16.
These include an HD IVS, Battery Plate, Custom Cage, Bolex Bayonet to ARRI PL adapter, and Bolex Bayonet to C Mount adapter.
The Full Bolex Custom Cage ($2,150 USD) is a complete custom cage for Bolex EBM Cameras. This includes custom cage pieces including the upper cage, side plate, base plate, and 15mm LWS bracket. Anyone interested in purchasing the HD IVS and battery plate is recommended to purchase the full cage. It not only adds so much functionality, but it also protects your camera, IVS and battery plate, and only adds about 1.5 pounds to the cameras.
Old Fast Glass Customs has a new Bolex Bayonet to ARRI PL adapter. According to the company, it is currently the only one on the market that you can shim. This allows you to get precise flange depth on your camera. There is also a shimmable Bolex Bayonet to C Mount adapter, which is also the only one on the market that you can shim to your camera.
Old Fast Glass also has the final design for its sturdy, and comfortable RS Hand Grip which features an RS button. It connects to the camera cage with an ARRI Standard Rosette, and there is also a custom right-angle 3-Pin Fischer cable for a clean cable run.
They have also updated the exterior of the HD Video Tap. They have redesigned the interior for more precise alignment and adjustability of the optics.
In addition, they have also updated the exterior of the EBM Battery Plate.
Old Fast Glass has started working on its first batch of cameras, and they are excited to complete these and get them back to their owners.
They are also working on designs for other Bolex models, and soon they will have accessories and modifications for other H16 models like REX-4, REX-5, SBM, as well as options for both Bolex Bayonet and Bolex Turret style cameras. Old Fast Glass hopes to start taking orders for those later this year.
