The Tilta Power Pass-through Plate for DJI RS 4 replaces the original sled of the DJI RS2, RS3, RS3 Pro, RS4, and RS4 Pro in order to expand power options for cameras and accessories.
Users can remove the original Ronin Plate by unlocking the height adjustment lever and sliding the plate off, then securing this accessory in the same fashion.
The Gold Mount, V-Mount Battery, or Dual NP-F Battery Plate can then be connected so you can mount batteries underneath the plate.
The Plate features two P-Tap output ports, one 2 Pin Lemo Port, and one USB-C, for powering your camera via dummy battery cables or accessories like wireless follow focus motors.
The 2 Pin Lemo port can also function as a power input, allowing users to power the plate via an external source with a 2 Pin Power Cable (not included).
The Plate is claimed to improve camera balance and lead to better gimbal performance overall by providing a more optimized center of gravity which is especially useful when using longer lenses.
The Manfrotto Receiver on the top and Cold Shoe Receiver on the bottom are identical to the original which means DJI accessories, like their Manfrotto Quick Release Plate or Raven Eye Wireless Video Transmitter, are still compatible.
