SmallRig has announced its new VND Matte Box with Adjustable Clamp.
According to SmallRig, the unique adjustable clamp design of the matte box features a three-point locking system, which allows for quick assembly and disassembly by pressing the push rods on both sides of the clamp and a locking knob on top.

The Matte Box features an adjustable clamp range of 67.0 – 82.0mm (2.6 – 3.2″), which makes it compatible with mirrorless and some cinema lenses.
It has a slim design, and it can accommodate circular and square filters. It is claimed to have no vignetting at focal lengths ≥16mm (for full-frame cameras and lenses).
The VND Matte Box with Adjustable Clamp offers versatile filter combinations, featuring both CPL and VND dual-filter functionality. The VND adjustment range spans 2 to 5 stops. It also features a hard stop to eliminate the unwanted X-pattern effect.
The VND and CPL filters are claimed to be made from high-definition imported glass that features a 22-layer dual-sided coating, so that the filters have accurate color reproduction and minimal color distortion within the 350-700nm wavelength range.
The included dustproof cap and lens cover provide dust protection. The modular design allows for easy accessory assembly and disassembly in 3 steps.
