FXLION Hot Swap Battery Plate

At IBC 2024 in Amsterdam, FXLION was showing a prototype of its upcoming Hot Swap Battery Plate.

The Hot Swap Battery Plate features a V-mount wedge for attaching to a camera on one side and on the other there is a V-mount plate for attaching a battery.

The Hot Swap Battery Plate features an in-built 40Wh battery and when using small to mid-sized digital cinema cameras it allows you to run the camera for up to 2 minutes while you hot-swap a battery.

The plate has three USB-C outputs, one of which allows for up to 60W, and two D-taps.

If you don’t have a camera that utilizes a V-mount battery plate you can mount it other ways as FXLION has included two 1/4-20″ threads on the bottom.

The FXLION Hot Swap Battery Plate should be available in the next 2 months for around $390 USD.
