KIPON has started shipping its new Version 2 PL-PL 1.25x Expander that will work with most PL mount zoom and prime lenses.
The KIPON Baveyes Cine Expander 1.25x V2 was designed to enlarge the image of PL mount prime and zoom lenses.

What does it do?
The adapter magnifies the image of your lens by a factor of 1.25x and extends the image circle up to 48mm. This provides greater versatility when using medium format and full frame cameras.
The adapter expands a lens’s focal length and image diameter by 25% while maintaining as much as possible light.
What’s new in V2?
V2 features a redesigned optical system with lens elements in 3 groups, which KIPON claims ensures sharpness and color accuracy across the entire image. With the advancement in the optics, the V2 is said to deliver improved image quality, specifically at the maximum T-Stop of 1.4, which allows for shaper and clearer images in low-light conditions or at the maximum aperture.
V2 also offers more space for certain PL lenses, with the flange distance now increased to 21mm (compared to the V1’s 17.5mm). This allows for a wider range of lens compatibility and easier installation when mounting lenses.
