Attaching wireless microphone slot receivers to cameras can be tricky and you can often end up with a Frankenrig. While there are robust slot-in solutions such as the Ambient V-Slot, these setups are not suitable for a lot of cameras.
To solve this issue, Ambient has developed two super-slim solutions, the Ambient Slot Mount and Slot Mount Mini, that allow you to attach any slot receiver to any camera.
It doesn’t matter whether you use Lectrosonics, Wysicom, or Sound Devices, any slot-size receiver will fit into the new mounts thanks to the standardized screw positions and can be flexibly attached to all sides of a camera. Both versions are designed to be attached to the camera with a 3/8” threaded screw.

This is also good news for Lockit+ users. As the Lockit+ was designed in slot-size, you can mount it to the camera via these new mounts – in case you want to record or stream Cooke /i lens metadata frame accurately (Learn more here).
Delivery includes one 3/8” screw (mounting on camera) and two M3x12mmscrews (mounting to the slot receiver).
