Irix Cine has announced its new Explorers Set which features four T1.5 lenses. The focal lengths are as follows:
- 21mm T1.5
- 30mm T1.5
- 45mm T1.5
- 65mm T1.5
Just to be crystal clear, these are not new lenses, they are existing lenses that Irix has made for quite some time.

The lenses cover full-frame sensors. Each lens has the focus and iris gears in the same spot to make swapping them much easier. The similar weight and size also help to avoid rebalancing when using a tripod, steadicam, or gimbal. All lenses are weatherproofed to allow working in any condition.

The Explorers set also comes with a set of three Magnetic Mount System filters:
✔ Irix Edge UV filter: A neutral filter that protects the lens;
✔ Irix Edge CPL filter: Helps to control reflections on sunny days;
✔ Irix Edge ND4: Cuts 2 f-stops of the light reaching the sensor, allowing the iris to remain open even on a bright day.
✔ All filters are secured in the Irix Edge Round Filter Case.
