At Cine Gear 2024 in Los Angeles, Viltrox were showcasing its yet-to-be-released Full Frame DL Mount Primes Lenses for the DJI Ronin 4D and Inspire series.
The new full frame AF lenses are all T1.8 and they come in the following focal lengths:
- 16mm T1.8
- 24mm T1.8
- 35mm T1.8
- 50mm T1.8
- 85mm T1.8
It is good to se a company come up with a full set of lightweight and compact DL mount lenses that can be used on the Ronin 4D and Inspire series.
The lenses are not all identical when it comes to size and weight, but they are fairly similar. The 16mm T1.8 is slightly longer than the other lenses, but all of them have weights ranging from 320g (35mm T1.8) up to 473g (85mm T1.8).
All of the focal lengths could be used on the DJI Ronin 4D with its Z-axis activated without issues.
Only the 16mm can be used as a manual focus or Auto Focus lens, the rest of the focal lengths are AF only.
Viltrox will be selling the set for $3,899 USD and it should start shipping in the next 2-3 months.
