ARRI has launched a full PCA set for the Canon C400. It’s similar to the Sony BURANO accessories that were launched at the end of last year, and features ARRI’s new NATO side brackets which work with the four new NATO rail clamps.
You can choose between Canon’s top plate and the ARRI CCH-4 top handle with extensions, thanks to the removeable centre part of the top plate, and the baseplate works with the standard BPA-5 Bridge Plate Adapter or combined VCT/Shoulder pad that ARRI have had for many years across their other PCA systems.
The ARRI Support System for Canon EOS C400 is crafted from high-grade materials, and it is claimed to offer the perfect blend of stability and lightweight design, ensuring reliability without compromising on ease of use.
The modular top plate is compatible with the ARRI CCH-4 top handle and HEX handle extensions, as well as the camera’s own handle, simplifying transitions between gimbal, handheld, and studio setups.
Multiple accessory mounting points adorn the cage system and the side brackets are shaped to function as NATO rails, offering even more versatile mounting options, as well as a safety release mechanism.
The system’s base plate facilitates rapid transitions between different camera setups. Adapters can be fitted without tools, while sliding the rig out of a tripod dovetail and into a shoulder mount or gimbal can be done in seconds.
ARRI Multi-Hex screws are compatible with Hex 3, 4, 5, or 5/32” screwdrivers, simplifying assembly and adjustment. You can adapt your camera build quickly on set, and you don’t have to carry so many tools.
