Tilta today has officially released the Khronos Ultimate Kit for iPhone 15 Pro / Pro Max. Designed meticulously for both models of iPhone 15, this camera cage inspired smartphone case is claimed to offer an unparalleled blend of functionality and elegance.
Built to shield your phone from daily wear and tear, the Khronos case offers reliable protection without compromising on style or functionality.
Installation requires four screws which ensure the case and any connected accessories remain securely attached. Equipped with multiple mounting points, the innovative locking clamp mechanism ensures a secure connection for additional accessories.
The Khronos case features integrated electronic contact points throughout, allowing you to pass power through the cage to power your accessories.
All Avaiable Accessories
The Ultimate Kit includes the Khronos Focus PD Handle, which provides additional power to your system and offers control over the iPhone’s Focus and Zoom functionality. This handle utilizes the same innovative locking clamp mechanism as other Khronos accessories and features an internal battery that can be charged via USB-C.
The Handle connects to an iPhone 15 via an integrated USB-C cable and uses Bluetooth to control focus or zoom via the dial on the front of the handle.
This also provides more stability when operating the system and the record button ensures users do not need let go of the handle to start recording.
The Circular Wooden Handle is an alternative operating option and features an integrated NATO Rail for mounting more traditional camera accessories. The Wooden Handle itself has a small swivel which allows the handle to be rotated in order to position it in the most comfortable configuration for a specific shot or setup.
Also included with the kit is the Cooling System for Khronos, which features a 22W variable-frequency heat dissipator. Connect to an external power source via USB-C or use the power from the included handle to simultaneously charge your iPhone and maintain its temperature while utilizing the MagSafe wireless magnetic connection.
This kit also includes a USB-C Hub, which connects to the iPhone via USB-C and expands options for connecting external drives and monitors via an HDMI port. The bottom of this USB-C Hub features an integrated ARCA Quick Release Plate, which makes it ideal for mounting to tripods or gimbals.
A Daylight Mini LED Light that can be mounted in multiple positions on the case. The light has a claimed CRI ≥95RA, 3 set brightness levels, and an adjustable mount.
The ARCA Quick Release Plate ensures the system is quick to mount onto compatible ARCA tripods and DJI gimbals when not using the USB-C Hub. The SSD Drive Holder provides a convenient option for mounting Solid-State Drives to record externally.
The Filter Tray easily mounts to the Khronos Case via a secure magnetic connection and features a swivel mount that allows the tray to drop into place over all three lenses of the iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max. The ND filters provide greater control over exposure by allowing users to reduce light visible to the sensor. This also helps keep the shutter speed consistent when shooting in brighter lighting environments like daylight. The Mist filters can also be used to help create a more diffused and soft image.
