Wise Advanced has upgraded its CFX-B CFexpress Type B cards to 4.0. By utilizing a PCIe Gen 4 interface, you can massively increase read and write speeds.
Wise Advanced claims that you can offload 100GB of 8K RAW video in 30 seconds (Based on Wise Advanced test conditions via RD-40CXB card reader with Apple MacBook Pro M2. The actual performance may vary with host devices and environments).
The sustained write speeds of the CFX-B 512GB and 1TB versions are said to be 800 MB/s and 1500 MB/s respectively. Another benefit of the new PCIe Gen 4 interface is that the cards generate less heat and are more power efficient.

Price & Availability
The Wise CFexpress 4.0 Type B cards will be available in mid-April 2024. The CF-E 512Gb card will retail for $199 USD and the CF-E 1TB card will be $399 USD.
