The Simera 28mm f/1.4 was designed for M-mount cameras. It is being billed as a fast manual-focus lens that has a nostalgic look. The lens features an aperture de-click switch that allows users to switch between smooth and clicked operation.

The Simera 28mm f/1.4 features an aspherical element and three high-refractive index elements that are claimed to help reduce color aberration and improve image quality. The lens’s 14-bladed diaphragm creates circular bokeh and it has a minimum focus distance of 1.4′. In a nice touch, when the focus ring is turned to 0.7m, you’ll feel a dampening to alert you that the lens focusing distance is about to exceed the limit.
The lens has a 49mm front filter diameter and it weighs 330g.
