Matching the colors envisioned in preproduction when that content is filmed from an LED wall can be complex and time-consuming. ARRI Color Management allows the precise calibration of LED walls in ICVFX environments, significantly reducing the work needed on set and in post to recover missing color information.
ARRI Color Management has been developed through ARRI’s virtual production specialists’ extensive knowledge of the graphics pipeline and how the camera sensor picks up color on set.
ARRI Color Management is available as a license model for virtual production facilities, and it enables the use of ARRI’s LED Calibration plug-in for Unreal Engine. Productions using ARRI cameras will be able to achieve the best image quality, when recording in front of an LED wall or any other screen.
