At IBC this week ARRI showed their AMIRA cameras with the latest options. Apart from the 4K output upgrade which we featured on the site a couple of weeks ago they also had a version of the EF mount for the camera on show. This was one of several mounts announced when the camera launched but has yet to ship. The EF option will be important to many users who either want to keep the camera small for documentary shoots, or who already have a lot of money invested in Canon glass. It also makes the camera a more viable rental option for shooters who are coming from Canon DSLRs or Cinema EOS cameras.
