Color grading on a non-profiled monitor will not give you accurate colors. It might be close, but that usually isn’t good enough. It’s best to calibrate the monitor so you can trust what you see on the screen. I’ve been using X-rite products for many years with great success, and a new line has been announced.

Calibrate Profiler
The Calibrite PROFILER software supports the three new devices with up to 30% faster calibration than the previous software.
