After four years, Cine Gear Expo is back in Hollywood at the Paramount Studios Lot. While we at Newsshooter.com like to see and report on the gear and news, the show also has many great things to see, including film competitions, exhibits, and seminars, plus master classes to hone your skills. The 2023 Film Competition finalists will be screened on Thursday, June 1, from 12 pm to 5 pm.

The lighting masterclass is $150 and is at AbelCine in Burbank.
The exhibits are mainly on the Streets Of New York and a few sound stages. The full map is available online. This year there are over 250 exhibitors from cameras, lighting, sound, cranes and dollies, and virtual sets. All the cutting-edge new tech and more in the film and video production industry are a few steps away from each other. It’s a good time to walk the New York street set and see a bunch of gear.
A series of seminars and panel discussions will be conducted by some of the most distinguished members of the American Society of Cinematographers, the International Cinematographers Guild, and many more.

All guests must register for Cine Gear Expo to attend any special event, screening, or seminar at the Paramount Studios. Your Cine Gear badge is your credential. Seating is limited, first come, first serve for all Screenings and Premiere Seminars. Registration entrance and parking is the same for Expo, Seminar and Events. Registration is free.
