It is being billed as a simple, easy-to-operate, lightweight, and portable LED video light, that is suitable for indoor live-streaming, still-life photography, video conferences, and outdoor live-streaming, etc.

The P200 Bi-Color LED Light Panel has physical dimensions of 10 x 6.9 x 0.6″ / 25.4 x 17.4 x 1.6 cm and it is 18mm thick. It weighs in at just 0.9 lb / 400 g and that is mainly due to the fact that the casing is made out of plastic.
It is a side-emitting LED light, which SmallRig claims makes it look natural and soft, making it a good solution for live streaming. The fixture features 192 LEDs and it draws just 15W.
The claimed output is 16 fc / 180 Lux at 3.3′ @ 1 m which is not a lot, especially for a panel of this size. The CCT range is 2500K-6500K and it has nine lighting effects.
There is also a one-click Beauty-On setting that SmallRig claims is an innovative, easy-to-use single-click button, that helps set personalized lighting effects. I am pretty sure this is just something to attract social media influencers as there is no real description of what this actually does.
The light can be powered in multiple ways. You can use an 18W power adapter with USB-C input or a Sony-style NPF lithium-ion battery. battery port for more portability. The USB-C port supports power banks and V-mount batteries if you need to run the light for long periods of time outdoors. I personally don’t think these would be much use outdoors given their low output.
On both sides of the fixture, there are 1/4″-20 threaded holes for mounting.
Price & Availability
The SmallRig P200 Bi-Color LED Light Panel is available in two versions, a version just for the US market and a universal version. The US version retails for $65.99 USD and the universal version is $55.99 USD. I couldn’t see any differences between the universal and American-only versions so I am not sure what the reasoning is for having two separate models.
This low price does make them very affordable and they would be a good option if you need to send lights out to a client who needs to set something up themselves for live streams.
