Tentacle Sync released a more affordable version of TRACK E. I reviewed the system, and I like it a lot. Check out the review for all the details.
The TRACK E Basic Box is a stripped-down version of the original. It has all the same functionality but doesn’t come with accessories. It includes one TRACK E Pocket Audio Recorder, a belt clip, and a charging cable. That’s it.
The Basic Box retails for €249.00 or $265 US.

As you can see, one of the main missing accessories is the lav mic. I can live without it as I have COS 11 with 3.5mm connectors that will work great with the TRACK-E. What is great is they included the excellent Tentacle Sync Studio (macOS) software for syncing audio with video. It works well and is fast.
Unfortunately, the supply chain issue, while getting better, is still still a problem therefore, the new TRACK E Basic Box is back-ordered for six weeks.
