Newsshooter’s Chuck Fadely talks to Lectrosonics about their new L series wireless microphones. These are digital hybrids with a lovely small form factor which is well suited to DSLRs and smaller cameras like the Canon C100, Panasonic’s GH4 or Sony’s a7S.
Users of current higher end Lectrosonics wireless systems will be able to use the transmitters and receivers with their existing gear – a very useful solution if you run both and ENG camera and also a DSLR or large sensor camcorder. You could put the new L series receiver on your DSLR and use the same beltpack transmitters as your existing kit.
