The Kondor Blue Sony FX3 Ultimate Rig was designed to add shoulder support, protection, power, and accessory mounting for your Sony FX3.
The rig combines a full camera cage, a NATO mount top handle with LANC control, a 15mm LWS universal baseplate, a 501 quick release plate, an E-mount lens cap, a V-mount battery plate with a 15mm rod clamp, a 3.5mm to FZ-100 dummy battery, an adjustable rosette handgrip bundle, and a pair of 12″ 15mm rods.
Kondor Blue Sony FX3 Cage
The cage allows you to protect and mount a variety of accessories to the camera while still keeping it small and lightweight. The cage has multiple accessory mounting points, including 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 with ARRI-style anti-twist divots. NATO rails are built into the removable side pieces of the cage, and the NATO rail on top of the cage can be removed, allowing you to use the Sony FX3 XLR top handle.
In addition to the removable top NATO rail, the top of the cage features a cold shoe with a safety pin arrangement designed to prevent your cold shoe-mounted accessory from accidentally falling out. The bottom of the cage features a raised front that helps keep your camera from twisting in the cage, and an integrated Arca-Swiss plate makes it easy to mount your camera/cage directly on a tripod head with an Arca-Swiss QR mechanism.
The built-in Arca Swiss Plate on the bottom of the cage allows compatibility with the new DJI Ronin.
Kondor Blue Cage Top Handle with Start/Stop Camera Control for Select Cameras
The Top Handle with Start/Stop Camera Control mounts on top of your cage or top plate using its NATO clamp. This universal, cheese-style handle features multiple 1/4″-20, 3/8″-16, and ARRI-style anti-twist threads, two shoe mounts, and a single 15mm rod port. The ARRI-style threads on the top feature pre-inserted 3/8″-16 to 1/4″-20 bushings so you have additional options for mounting your accessories.
The handle also features a start/stop button and a LANC port that can connect to a wide variety of camera models such as those from Z CAM, Blackmagic, Sony, Canon, Panasonic, JVC, and more. An 11″ long 2.5mm LANC cable and a 12″ long micro-USB cable for Sony Alpha series cameras are both included.
