Irix has released its Edge Square Filters in an SR (Super Resistance) version. These new models are joining the line of 100mm standard square filters. They can be used with Irix IFH-100, IFH-100 PRO holders, or with any other 100mm filter holder.
The new SR versions are claimed to not only offer outstanding protection, but also accurate color rendition with superior sharpness and contrast. Irix states that the new SR generation of Irix Edge filters has good resistance to mechanical damage such as impact and increased scratch resistance. These features, combined with NANO (water & dirt-repellent) coating, should allow the filters to have a long life span.

Soft Gradual – for uneven lighting conditions, with the light transition from ND to clear. Available variants:
- Irix Edge 100 SR Soft nano GND4 0.6 100x150mm
- Irix Edge 100 SR Soft nano GND8 0.9 100x150mm
- Irix Edge 100 SR Soft nano GND16 1.2 100x150mm
- Irix Edge 100 SR Soft nano GND32 1.5 100x150mm
Hard Gradual – for situations, where light changes more drastically, like landscape shots where the sky is much brighter than the ground and scenes where the horizon is flat and regular such as the sea or some wide-open plain. Available variants:

- Irix Edge 100 SR Hard Gradual GND8 0.9 100x150mm
Reverse Gradual – for sunsets and sunrises, with the darkest part right in the middle. Available variants:

Full ND – The purpose of Irix 100mm Edge Full ND filters is to reduce the light that reaches the camera’s sensor. Available variants:
