The IndiPRO Tools Porta-Pak Battery With D-Tap Output & Charger (8V/12V) was made specifically for use with mirrorless hybrid cameras. The Porta-Pak is a 12V, 72Wh, Lithium-Ion battery pack with a 6-amp continuous draw.
It consists of a 2.5mm regulated 9V DC output, 2.1mm regulated 12V DC output and a 5-volt USB port. This Porta-Pak unit features a female D-tap that outputs 12V allowing it to power any device that accepts a D-tap regulation cable.
The unit features a 9V and a 12V output, so you can power cameras, monitors, lights, and other accessories. The 5V USB port can be used to charge mobile devices as well as power any 5V accessories. The Porta-Pak has a 4 segment LED display that shows battery level.
The Porta-Pak includes a small, lightweight charger that provides a quick charge current of 2A. A dedicated 12V charger must be used to recharge the Porta-Pak through the D-tap port. This portable charger features a male D-tap on one end and a U.S. wall plug on the other, and it supports 90-240 VAC worldwide input voltage. The charger also has an LED indicator on the front that changes from red to green when your battery is fully charged.
