CAME-TV has released a new range of camera cage kits for the Sony FX3 There are 4 kits to choose from and they range from a basic camera cage all the way up to a kit that includes a riser plate, rods, matte box, and a follow focus.

The base of all of the kits revolves around the camera cage. It is made of aluminum and it weighs 175g / 6.17 oz.
The camera cage has been designed to add a lot of mounting points without getting in the way of the camera’s controls. It also features an Arca Swiss quick release plate and a single ARRI 1/4 20″ with positioning pins.
The Top Handle has multiple 1/4-20″ threads, a cold shoe, a 3/8″ thread, and a place for a 15mm rod. It is also reversible, so you can turn it around if you prefer. If you don’t want to use the handle, the cage is compatible with Sony’s Detachable XLR Adapter Handle.
The FX3-04 kit comes with just about everything you need. In addition to the basic camera cage you get a top handle, 15mm baseplate, 15mm rods, a dovetail plate, a follow focus that attaches to 15mm rods, focus gear rings, and a swing-away matte box that accepts 4 x 4 filters.
