GoPro has announced the HERO10 Black. The HERO10 Black uses a new GP2 processor, HyperSmooth 4.0 video stabilization in all modes, and it can capture 5.3K video at up to 60p and 4K at up to 120p.
The HERO10 Black comes exactly one year to the day that GoPro announced the HERO9 Black.
If you want a quick synopsis, the HERO10 Black gives you higher frame rates and claimed better image stabilization than the previous GoPro HERO9 Black.
So how does the HERO10 Black improve from the HERO9 Black?
The HERO10 Black uses the exact same 23.6 Megapixel CMOS sensor as the previous HERO9 Black.
The biggest difference is that GoPro is using a new GP2 processor that allows the framerate capabilities to be bumped up.

Above you can see the framerate changes over the old (it only came out a year ago!) HERO9 Black. Even though the frame rates have increased, the bitrates haven’t. They still top out at 100Mbps.
The HERO10 Black features HyperSmooth 4.0 video stabilization with in-camera horizon leveling. The HERO9 Black has HyperSmooth 4.0 video stabilization.
You can now also automatically upload your footage directly to the cloud while your GoPro is charging. Wireless offloads are claimed to be 30% faster than before.
