SHAPE has announced a new Rolling Camera Backpack. Bags are often overlooked by shooters, but if you are going to be traveling around a lot or taking a lot of flights, you want a convenient, well-made solution for your essential gear.
SHAPE states that the Rolling backpack was designed by camera operators for camera operators. The Rolling backpack was designed to be lightweight and robust, although it still tips the scales at 6.35kg / 14 lb. It features a fabric exterior wrapped around an armored, rigid structure.
What is nice, is that it features a removable interior so you can simply take the inside of the bag out with everything still inside.
The included padded dividers can be moved around depending on what you need to put inside the bag.
The bag was designed to meet most airlines’ carry-on size requirements
Even though it has wheels, if you need to carry it over uneven ground, you can pull out the concealed, padded backpack straps.
There is also a nice drop-down pocket so you could attach a small tripod or light stands.
The bag features a two-stage aluminum trolley with center button control.
The bag also features clear pockets and a full panel zip opening for easier access to essential accessories.
On the front of the bag, there is a mole pattern system for attaching pouches such as the SHAPE On Set AC Belt & Pouch Tool Kit.
On one side of the bag, you will find zippered mesh pockets where you can place a water bottle or other accessories.
On the other side, there is a carry handle.
