BirdDog has announced new Gen 2 models of their A200 & A300 NDI based PTZ cameras.
These are weatherproof, full NDI cameras with remote colour shading controls.
Both cameras have frame rates up to 1080p60, 30x optical zoom, and simultaneous output over SDI & NDI.
Both cameras are IP67 rated and are designed to handle the outdoors.
- Full Colour Matrix with individual control of Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Yellow, Magenta
- 64 positions of Hue and 64 positions of Saturation for each colour.
- 72 levels of Gamma.
- Cam Control support for remote camera shading.
- Free Update Offer for existing A200 and A300 customers.
Nitrogen Filled Housing
The A300 Gen 2 is designed to handle the most extreme environments. It has a nitrogen filled housing so there is no chance of the lens fogging up.
It has a Wind Load Durability rating equal to 60m/s and an infra red laser with up to 500m of range to assist with focussing in low light conditions.
Camera Shading with Cam Control
Using the free Cam Control app, you can dial in the colour & exposure of the cameras.
Using the app, you can easily adjust hue, saturation and more using the touch-screen friendly GUI.
The type of adjustments you can set is determined by the camera being used.

The A200 Gen 2 retails for $4,495 USD or $5,295 inc US Tariff & the A300 Gen 2 for $6,495 or $7,495 inc. US Tariff.
Existing owners of the first generation of A200 & A300 cameras are able to send their cameras in for a free upgrade to unlock the new Colour Matrix & Gamma tools.
