Sony had a large booth at the BIRTV in Beijing last week. One of the most impressive things at the show was their 4K live production system desgined with their F55 camera at its heart. Designed for sports and major event coverage the system can hand realtime 4K mixing, but the real advantage is in being able to crop a 1080 HD image out of the 4K frame in real time.
