BIRTV 2013: Skypix motion controlled timelapse head and slider controlled with Wii controller from Dan Chung on Vimeo.
There was an area of the BIRTV exhibition in Beijing last week dedicated to exhibitors from Korea. One of the more interesting things I saw was a $4000 US timelapse setup from a company called Skypix. For such a small device it was fully motorised with control being achieved with a simple Wii type controller. The motorised head is mounted on a slider that at first glance looks similar to Edelkrone’s popular Slider+.
