Fujifilm has announced the new GF30mm F3.5 R WR lens for G-mount GFX medium format cameras.

The lens provides a wide-angle focal length and is equivalent to 24mm in 35mm.
It features two extra-low dispersion elements to reduce chromatic aberrations and consists of 13 elements in 10 groups.
A physical aperture ring allows for manual adjustment, in addition to the automatic mode. The C position which indicates the ‘Command’ position for camera-based aperture settings.
A rounded 9-blade aperture ensures for smooth bokeh, with an f/3.5 maximum aperture.
The GF30mm F3.5 lens retails for $1,699.95 USD.
