NAB 2013: Blackmagic updates DaVinci Resolve to version 10 from Matthew Allard on Vimeo.
Not content with two new cameras, Blackmagic has also updated its hugely powerful colour correction software, DaVinci Resolve. The new version includes a completely redesigned interface, featuring scrubbable media thumbnails, and new graphical palettes. It boasts new features for integrating workflows of multiple software, making moving timelines in and out of Premier, Final Cut and Avid much easier. It also has some powerful new lighting features, online finishing of edits, online grading, and full multiple-track editing with unlimited video tracks and 16 audio per clip. The new software will still be available free with the black magic camera, and the lite version will also soon be upgraded to include the new features.
