SWIT has announced the new FLOW6500 and FLOW10K long-range wireless video transmitters. The SWIT FLOW series have been around since 2019. The first two models were 500ft and 2000ft versions, that were designed primarily for wireless follow focus and for directors monitors.
Super long range
The FLOW6500 has a range of 6500ft/2km, and the FLOW10K has a range of 10000ft/3km. SWIT claims that the new FLOW models will be perfect for large scale event production.
The FLOW6500 and FLOW10K use a high gain panel antenna with a built-in receiver. The transmitters are the same size as the FLOW500 and FLOW2000.
The transmitter has a 3G/HD-SDI in / loop out and HDMI in. The panel receivers have been designed so that you can use them on a light stand.
The panel receiver has a V-mount battery plate on the back and a 6-17V DC-IN connector. There is also an OLED screen that displays the video format, wireless channel, and signal strength.
The long-distance wireless system allows one transmitter to send signals to multiple receivers. they can even work with the FLOW500 or FLOW2000.
