New to the AGITO Cine system is the ability to now operate with MagTrax functionality, offering repeatable camera movement, which is a significant advantage, where consistency across takes is paramount.

MagTrax is an enhancement to the Sports drive ends. It enables the operator to follow a magnetic strip. This can be laid on a surface, underneath a carpet, or embedded within a set. Allowing productions to move cameras in a new way, on an invisible track. The sensor bar detects the magnetic strip under most non-metallic surfaces, guaranteeing the trajectory of AGITO.
You can turn up to your location, roll out a reel of magnetic tape, and then quickly and easily position it into the required shape, and you’re away. AGITO Cine will then autonomously follow the path, leaving the operator free to concentrate on the camera movement.
As well as automatically following this strip you can move from one path to another. This gives you free-roaming capabilities, guaranteed repeatable movement, and complete speed control.

The Motion Impossible AGITO Cine was first unveiled in 2024, and it builds on the features of AGITO Gen 2 by adding a larger Core, extended wheelbase, and increased ground clearance. This enables it to support heavier cameras and remote heads (up to 150kg/330 lbs) like the Matrix or Libra.

Key features
- Supports up to 150kg (330lb) total payload
- Speed range from 0.5cm/s (0.2in/s) to 27km/h (17mph)
- Turning circle 3.2m (10.5ft)
- Powerful motors & mechanical braking
- Super-quiet drive & steering
These capabilities make it perfect for wildlife documentaries, high-end feature films, and premium TV productions.
According to Motion Impossible, AGITO Cine combines power with agility, and it is able to navigate tight spaces without sacrificing performance.
AGITO Cine has already been used on major projects such as Predators (Netflix & Sky Nature) and Apple Vision Pro’s Metallica and Raye’s Concert for One. It’ll be showcased at Cine Gear on Service Vision’s booth (721).
