The Laowa 8-16mm T2.9 Fisheye Zoom FF Cine features an ultra-wide diagonal AoV and close focusing distance.
Laowa has a reputation for making very unique and interesting lenses, and the 8-16mm T2.9 Fisheye Zoom FF Cine looks to be another of those. I personally don’t know of any other PL mount lenses like this.

Yes, it is certainly niche, but I think it will be a popular lens for music videos and other scenarios where you need a unique shot. At 8mm, you get a lot of vignetting, and that slowly disappears when it hits 15mm.
