Kinefinity Eagle HDMI & SDI E-Viewfinder Firmware V2.2 Update

At NAB 2025 in Las Vegas, I talked to Kinefinity about their Firmware V2.2 Update for the Eagle HDMI & SDI E-Viewfinders.

Feature Updates

Improved sharpening feature in focus assist, adjustable between [1~20], enhancing the sharpness of object edges in the image.
Added log image support, which is now compatible with SLog3, VLog, FLog2, and NLog.
Bug Fixes EAGLE SDI: Fixed a potential timecode display issue when connecting to the Canon EOS C80

As you can’t upload a user LUT to the Eagle HDMI & SDI E-Viewfinders, Kinefinity has come up with an alternative solution. It now supports SLog3, VLog, FLog2, and NLog Log signals, and you can then convert them into a proper Rec.709 image for viewing.
