At the NAB show in Las Vegas, Laowa was showing the World’s widest probe zoom lenses. Consisting of two versions, the 15-24mm T8 & 15-35mm T12 with 3 different interchangeable barrels (Direct View, 35-Degree View & Periscope View), the lenses offer the longest zoom range ever of 2.3x with the longest tube length in its class.
The lenses boast a 110.5° angle of view and a 2.3x zoom range for significant changes in magnification and perspective. The 40cm-longest waterproof tubular design empowers filmmakers to capture deep, hard-to-reach subjects with unparalleled flexibility.
The default mount option is ARRI PL mount with optional interchangeable mounts available for Sony E/ Canon EF/ Canon RF/ Nikon Z/ L-mount.
Price & Availability
The Laowa 15-24mm T8 will cost $3,500 USD, and the 15-35mm T12 will be $4,000 USD. They are scheduled to start shipping in Q3 this year.
